Digitisation of Maps

GEL in technical collaboration with M/S. Vision Labs Institute, Hyderabad has computerized the total Land records for the Directorate of Settlement and Land Records, Goa. This project included the digitization of all maps for the state of Goa. As on date maps of the complete state are scanned and stored generating around 8 Lakhs property details. These maps are updated regularly by the department in order to facilitate partitioning, conversion etc. These updations are done using the VMM software provided by Vision Labs Institute in collaboration with GEL. This project brought about a lot of recognition to the department as it was one of the first State to complete this project. The Complete Spatial Data for the Land Records is now digitized and is in the process of being Linked to the Record of Rights, Form ICXIV (ROR).

Our company has undertaken this project of computerization of KTC. The project involves computerization of all the activities of KTC including connectivity of all the offices/depots spread all over the state of Goa. The software has been installed in the head office and has been functioning satisfactorily. The software will be extended to other offices/depots after the connectivity is established. The software is developed by M/s. Maruthi-IT.Com Limited a company based in Bangalore. GEL provides basic support to KTC for implementing this software with the help of in-house software programmers/hardware engineers.

The main modules of the Software are as follows;

PayRoll Management : Facilitates generation of complete pay bill with payslip generation, taking into account all Loans/Advances, GPF and IT.

Inventory Management: Complete Process of Inventory management for the stores is computerized.

Stores Management :Facilitates tracking of Par Stock , Issue and Receipts for the Stores.

Supplier Management: Provides to maintain all list of Suppliers with items supplied and cost, thereby also generating the comparative statements.

Traffic Management : Facilitates Waybill Abstract, Routes, Fare Structure, online ticketing and reservation

Accounting :The system also provides for Cheque book, cash book and bills management.
