File Management System (FMS)
This is a off the shelf product which facilitates a complete mailing system within an organization. All users within the organization can send and receive mail to each other. In addition there is facility to send attachments and receive alerts on receiving a new mail. However, the main purpose of this application is the File Management System. This System tracks a file movement within an organization it not only facilitates movement of note and associated files but also includes authorization at every stage. This system helps the general public track where a file has been pending. It is revolutionary start in helping making the system more transparent.
Loan Management System (LMS)
This is a off the shelf product which manages small scale loans for corporations and banks. It was developed for the Goa State Schedule Caste and Other Backward Class Finance Development Corporation. Now this application is under consideration for the Directorate of Education and Khadi Corporation. The Application has the following modules;
The main modules of the Software are as follows;
Loan Application: This module is used to enter details of the individual (company/group) applying for a loan from the department. It includes details such as name, Address, attached documents etc
Loan Sanction: Once the loan application is entered this application is shown waiting for sanction in the system. The sanction module facilitates verification of documents and all other criteria for sanction of loan.This module also includes creating various repayment schedules and assigning any schedule to the loan account.
Loan Disbursement: This module handles the actual disbursement of the amount in the form of cheque /DD etc.
Loan Accounting and Interest Calculation This module handles the periodic interest calculation on a loan account. It also accounts for the number of installments paid towards each loan account
Recovery and Follow-up Module This module calculates the recoveries due from all loan accounts for a specified period. It also generates the required notices and give detailed report of total amount payable towards interest and principal.
Website Development
GEL has developed the website for some of the major government departments like Directorate of Transport, Directorate of Panchayat, Directorate of Printing and Stationary. Development of website and maintenance of the same is also done by GEL
